Public Health Leadership Programme

The leadership day consists of four workshops which are suitable for students in years 11, 12 and 13 who have an interest in public health careers as well as a range of other health and wellbeing roles.
By engaging in the leadership day students will develop key skills in health promotion which they can use in initiatives to help improve the awareness of health issues amongst their peers and families.
The workshops aim to inspire and upskill students to develop their own ambassadorial role within their school, 大学, or wider community through their development of a health promotion initiative. The workshops will complement the work the students will already be doing on their courses in health & social care, sociology, psychology and other related areas.
The outcomes aim to enhance experience of public health, health & 社会护理和保健 & wellbeing courses in higher education, and the development of core skills valued by educational institutions and public health and wellbeing employers.
